We have all played the fool with our finances. It's an unfortunate but necessary part of the game. Investing and financial fluency are skills like any other skill--it takes practice and making mistakes to learn. And as I say in the 2023 video below, we learn to walk by falling down. So let's normalize that making mistakes with money and investing, is a part of the process!
Happy April Fools Day today! So I have shared on this day, for the last three years, my foolhardy financial decisions or inactions. You can find them here: 2022, 2023, 2024. (ouch.)
Here's this year's: I have three big boxes of unopened mail... It's so embarrassing that I don't even want to make a video about it! But there it is, I have an avoidance issue with old mail, and while I am indeed working on it, and currently I am caught up with things that actually need my attention, there are boxes sitting in my closet with financial mail that I just don't have the stomach to go through.
I promise, I will post an update here once I have gone through it and opened it all!
Okay, that's mine for 2025! What's yours?
Let me know in the comments! And as always, thanks for reading this! And PS If you're here from the email mailing list--Thanks for following the link!
