August is here! Read about these Black-owned businesses in the finance sector (Note: our company does not receive any money or financial benefit if you click on any of these links.)

An investing platform run by my friend and former JP Morgan Managing Director, Mical Jeanlys-White.

A Wealthmore subscription gives you access to a Certified Financial Planner® to help you make smart and effective money decisions for the longterm.

From the About page at Wealthmore:

“Our communities get inundated with ways to spend. We don’t get inundated with ways to build wealth.” — Mical Jeanlys-White in Forbes

I am a client of theirs, I spoke on their podcast, and I have had valuable conversations with my advisor. Highly recommend.

And I just saw this on their front page:

"I love my advisor. I wish I'd done it sooner"

Leslie, New York, Entrepreneur

I think that might be me, lol. It's true!

An app that makes the investing process easier, and also provides community and education, partnering with HBCUs and sports teams.

From the About page at Stackwell:

At Stackwell, we believe everyone deserves the confidence and tools to invest in their future. But for too long, too many have been made to feel that investing just isn’t for people like them. We’re here to change that."

We here at MGB agree. Let's change that together.

Just found this YouTuber couple (Our Rich Journey) who are embodying the Financial Independence, Retire Early movement (FIRE). In 2022, I posted a book recommendation that explains the FIRE movement HERE.

I don't know them, and I haven't tried any of their courses, but you might find it interesting to learn how they found financial freedom and moved to Portugal, which is becoming a haven for Black expats (fourth after Mexico, Ghana and Columbia).

If you check out any of these businesses, let me know in the comments what you think! How might you supporting Black Business this month?

As always, thanks for reading this.
