Hope you have all had a good month of March.
I wanted to share about a family holiday I just took. SENEGAL. In West Africa.
We stayed at Club Med Cap Skirring, a trip arranged by my cousin Audie Jones of Axeus travel.
This club had the best staff and a beautiful location, and was an easy way to experience this country, where so much of the transatlantic trafficking in human lives took place.
It was deeply profound to be there with family and a family friend. We are pictured here with two of the wonderful staff of the resort. I have never been to West Africa before, and it was humbling and moving and such a rich experience.

As we are thinking about investing, it is very useful to have a sense of where we came from. What our ancestors have been through. What we have survived.
What I learned on this trip is the resilience of anyone who made it through the Middle Passage, and came out the other side. There is so much beauty and strength. I'm proud to be who I am, and to see where a part of me came from.
