If you have been watching the S&P 500, and I hope you have, since it's Step 1 in the MGB Investing Starter Kit process, then you know: The S&P 500 just hit its all-time high yesterday, of 4,894.16. Today, during trading, it made it as high as 4906.69! But closed slightly down at 4890.97.
What does this mean? Well, historically, the S&P 500 has returned 8-13% on average since it was established as an index in 1957. That's not true every year, and past performance is no guarantee of future results, but right now, it seems that the 'trend is up.'
This is exciting if you have started to invest according to the philosophy we suggest in The MGB Investing Starter Kit instructions.
Have you started? How is it going? Do you see what I see?
We hope it's going well. Let us know in the comments. If you haven't started yet, then PLEASE take our next class! Sign up is HERE and below. And as always, thanks for reading this.
EDIT 2/9/24
AND IT JUST CLOSED OVER 5000! Let us know in the comments if you watched it happen!
