May Queen Elizabeth Rest In Peace. She served her country faithfully for 7 decades with a dedication that is unparalleled. Her funeral yesterday was a moving tribute, regardless of what one might think of colonialism.

It led me to think about the concept of lineage. Royalty IS the essence of multigenerational wealth transfer. What can we learn from the 'royals' when we want to think about creating wealth for ourselves and the next generation? And I'm so happy that the Duchess of Sussex, fka Meghan Markle, pictured here with the Queen in 2020, has joined this family. (And now, two of Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren are of African descent!)

One thing that the royal family certainly models for us is: lineage and inheritance. Knowing where we come from can help us to get where we want to go, because it gives us context for our lives.

Have you ever tried to trace your lineage? Do you know your grandparents' birthdates and history?

It was recently MY beloved grandmother's 97th birthday, and I am very proud of that lineage.

How about you? What lessons have you learned from your ancestors? What stories about money are passed down to you? And... don't we all deserve to feel like royalty, to have a royal send-off when we die? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and as always, thanks for reading this.
