I haven’t spoken much about my two children here in this blog, but suffice it to say, they are brilliant, beautiful people. They just graduated from high school this month, I could not be more proud of them.
For me as a mom, nothing is more important than that my children are happy and healthy. I’m sure Mrs. Marian Robinson felt the same way, which is why I love her example so much.
Her wise words-- “Don’t worry about whether anybody else likes you. Come home. We’ll always like you here,” is a beautiful principle that I aim to live by for my children.
Graduating from high school is such a milestone. It’s so important to celebrate.

But I didn’t want this week to end without acknowledging my two beloved teens and their hard work. They inspire me.
