My father's mother, my beloved Grandmom, died last Tuesday. She lived an incredible life of 97 years.
Over the space of about a year during the pandemic, I called her every day. She always had something meaningful to say.
Here are four of my favorite quotes from that time.
Grandmom:
"When you do right, it always works out."
"Anything you put your mind to, you can accomplish."
"The secret of life is to be happy."
and
"Victory is in the eye of the beholder. You decide what is a victory to you. The future is in your hands."
and so it is.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Grandmom. I feel so blessed that we got to have you in our lives for as long as we did.
A memorial for Grandmom will be held in Baltimore, Maryland on Monday, 2/20/23.
