Getting good financial advice can be a godsend. It can make a big difference to a person's long term wealth. But of course, we must use discernment. When shopping around for an advisor, anyone can look up the advisor's name on BrokerCheck from FINRA, the organization that regulates the financial industry. That link is below:
Have you thought about getting a financial advisor? Would you be willing try having a 'discovery' conversation with one or two financial advisors, with no commitment of any money on your part? Many financial advisors will have a conversation with you, for free, to see if you might be a good match, especially if you are already a client at their bank. Ask friends if they have financial advisors, and if they do, how has that been for them. So many options.
What's your experience with financial advice?
Let me know in the comments! And as always, thanks for reading this.
